Recovery Vehicles

When designing our recovery truck beavertail body, we recognised that weight and durability were critical to the final design. With this in mind we look at varies material and finally agreed upon an aluminium sub frame bolted directly to the donor vehicle with a steel beavertail sub structure which is both sleeved and bolted to the chassis.

The vehicle deck is ground breaking in that unlike the majority of bodybuilders who use either a sticky tape or paint on surface both of which quickly wear, LCVT have produced a unique aluminium extruded plank that is perforated. The plank is not only extremely durable, but also light and offers a high level of grip in all weather conditions.
