Based around LCVT’s own low floor chassis design, which was developed solely for commercial applications, the vehicle utilises the original equipment rear suspension set up of the donor cab and the chassis sleeves up inside the cab, to ensure an interface which is equal to the O.E chassis that’s removed.
The vehicle is available in varies lengths depending on the final application and offers up to 1,500kg of payload dependent on the options fitted and body length. The internal width between the wheel boxes can be up to 1,800mm allowing the widest commercial mower to be carried.
The advantages to the operative with a floor height of only 550mm are numerous and include the loading and unloading of equipment is both quicker and safer, boarding the vehicle when loading/unloading is simple with no need for additional steps and a significant reduction for potential injury when actually on the vehicle bed.
