The innovative combination side tipper/beavertail offers the obvious solution to the Grounds Maintenance sector when wanting to maximise vehicle utilisation throughout the year.
Have worked with a leading grounds Maintenance Company on the vehicle concept the key criteria was set to ensure the vehicle ticked all the boxes with reference to operational flexibility.
Payload of the vehicle was crucial to allow it to carry the majority of commercial mowers, and waste material over the winter period. Dependant on the chosen donor chassis cab, payload is as high as 1,280kg
The body has been designed to fit all mainstream chassis cabs with body lengths available from 3,500mm to 4,500mm. The sub frame attaches to the designated pick up points on the chassis and is a combination of Aluminium and Stainless Steel to ensure weight is kept to a minimum while giving structural strength where needed.
The hydraulic tipping mechanism has the capability to tip up to 1,500kg and comes as standard with a plug-in hand control to ensure the body is isolated when machinery is being carried.
The floor of the vehicle is a key feature of the design; strength and durability were pre-requites , therefore an aluminium extruded plank was designed and produced with a perforated surface which offers exceptional grip to both machinery and operatives, while combining the strength and durability necessary. The floor also allows water to drain off any equipment or general waste being carried.
The tailgate of the vehicle is produced using an aluminium sub structure with a textured punched GRP mesh and is assisted by way of two compact torsion hinges.
Drop sides are fitted forward of the beavertail with a front bulkhead and recessed lashing points.
